In 2005, John McIntire was so fed up with big box stores and the lack of customer service that he and his wife decided to start a new holiday store focusing on unique and fun gift items. Hence, Colorado Seasons opened its doors in southeast Centennial in August 2005. John decided to carry Thomas Kinkade artwork in order to help beautify the walls. This just so happened to be the year that the only four Thomas Kinkade galleries in the Denver metro retired or closed, leaving Colorado Seasons as the only Thomas Kinkade Gallery in Denver. Due to a tremendous demand for Thomas Kinkade product, John decided to specialize more in Thomas Kinkade artwork and in October 2007, Colorado Seasons upgraded to a Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery.
There are several different categories of Thomas Kinkade authorized galleries but collectors are urged to purchase their Thomas Kinkade art work from a Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery as opposed to just an "authorized gallery." Reason being is a Signature Gallery specializes in carrying Thomas Kinkade artwork and are authorized to carry ALL Thomas Kinkade artwork AND editions. You will also find that owners and staff at Signature Galleries are typically more educated in the artwork as opposed to just "authorized galleries."
To continue with our story, business was terrific and John and his staff quickly developed relationships with loyal customers. In August 2008, John opened his second Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery in Cherry Creek North, right as the recession hit. However, despite the wrecked economy, both of John's Thomas KInkade Signature Galleries excelled in sales despite many other galleries closing their doors. John and his staff credit their success as a direct result of their incredible customer service. Both of John's galleries offer many perks which most other Kinkade galleries do not. Their customer service was not only recognized by customers but also by the local media. In fact, "The Trouble Shooter" Tom Martino (Colorado's consumer advocate) invited John for multiple appearances on his television program "Martino TV" to talk about the galleries' steller customer service. Haystack Colorado (another consumer television show whose motto is "finding a business that excels in customer service is like finding a needle in a haystack) also invited John to do an appearance as well. .
John and his crew love to receive feedback from customers and encourage you to enroll in their email newsletter to keep up to date with special events which the galleries offer (i.e. Thomas Kinkade personal appearances, highlighting events, etc). Rest assured, all information you provide is private and will never be shared or sold to anyone.
